The standard protection for x-ray protected environments is obtained by back-covering all the partitions with a layer of lead panels. The thickness of the lead panels are selected to match the x-ray emitting source requirements.
Alternate lead free lining solutions are also available. Gib X-Block provides a 1mm or 2mm lead equivalent that can be applied to walls and ceilings.
Additional design processes are applied when x-ray shielding is required.
Doors, viewing panels and windows are also provided with x-ray protection.
